The Ohio Secretary of State provides a variety of business reports available for free download. These reports help the public, researchers, and business owners access current registration and filing data for entities operating in Ohio.
Available Business Reports:
New Business Filing – recently formed businesses registered with the Ohio Secretary of State.
Subsequent Business Filing – updates and amendments filed after initial registration.
Service Mark and Trademark Filings – active and newly filed marks on record with the office.
Report Downloads
New reports are generated on the second Saturday of each month. The downloadable report table is refreshed automatically with the latest data after each monthly update.
Phone numbers and email addresses are not required when filing with the Ohio Secretary of State. Therefore, this information does not appear in the public reports.
The Secretary of State does not offer a list of trade names or fictitious names.
