LaRose Welcomes New Americans At Cleveland Naturalization Ceremony

COLUMBUS – Today, Secretary of State Frank LaRose welcomed new Americans at a Naturalization Ceremony in Cleveland where 79 people became citizens. Following the event, the Secretary joined the Cuyahoga Board of Elections and League of Women Voters to sign up many of the newly sworn-in citizens as registered voters.

“For these people that have made the difficult journey to come to this country and become a United States citizen -- they are truly a part of a great tradition,” said LaRose. “As successive waves of immigrants have done, they will contribute richly to the cultural, economic and civic life of our state.”
