Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose chaired a ballot board meeting where it was determined that the Lifetime General Assembly Term Limits Amendment contained one proposed amendment and that the Secure and Fair Elections Amendment (Resubmission) contained four separate amendments. (Franklin Co.)

LaRose partnered with the Mahoning County Board of Elections to conduct an in-depth educational tour that provided local news media with an opportunity to learn much more about the election process. This is the second "Elections 101" event hosted by the Secretary. (Mahoning Co.)
Ohio’s Presidential Primary Election is just over a week away. LaRose announced that 243,719 absentee ballots have been requested and that 84,149 votes have been cast statewide through Monday, March 2, 2020, surpassing the pace at this same point four years ago. The data was collected by the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office via a survey of Ohio’s 88 county boards of elections.
