(Columbus) – Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose today released the final update to the Ohio Absentee and Early Voting Data Dashboard ahead of the November 4 General Election.
“From voter registration information to absentee and early voting data, Ohio continues to set the standard for election transparency,” said Secretary LaRose. “For Ohioans planning to cast their ballot on Election Day, visit VoteOhio.gov to view your sample ballot or confirm your polling location, and remember to bring your photo ID and a smile.”
Ohioans can explore the updated dashboard and additional election transparency tools through the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office of Data Analytics and Archives at OhioSoS.gov/Data.
Background:
Under Ohio law, absentee ballots being mailed must be postmarked by Monday, November 3, and must arrive at the local board of elections within four days of Election Day.
Absentee ballots may be returned in person to the county board of elections before polls close on Election Day. Absentee ballots may not be returned to a polling location.
If a voter requested an absentee ballot that they did not return, and chooses to vote on Election Day, they will be permitted to vote a provisional ballot. The board will confirm that two votes were not cast before counting the provisional ballot.
Polls will be open on Tuesday, November 4, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
