Aims to Ensure Every Ohioan Knows Where to Find Trusted Election Information to Make Their Voice Heard
COLUMBUS — Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced today the launch of a statewide voter education campaign to help Ohioans find trusted, official election information and make their plan to vote.
The campaign will promote VoteOhio.gov, Ohio’s official source for election information, while educating voters about election security, accessibility, and the three convenient ways Ohioans can cast their ballots.
“Ohioans should have confidence that their elections are both secure and accessible, and that starts with knowing where to find accurate information,” said Secretary of State Frank LaRose. “Our ‘Secure and Accessible’ campaign reminds voters that VoteOhio.gov is their trusted source for official election information and everything they need to make a plan to vote.”
The general election campaign includes a media buy reaching Ohioans across a broad range of platforms and communities. The campaign will utilize:
Digital advertising
Social media
Print advertising
Streaming services
Cable television
Radio
Billboards
Public transportation and buses
Community partners
Minority media outlets
The campaign is designed to reach Ohioans where they live, work, and consume information. It will provide information on a range of topics, including voter registration, voting methods, and important dates and deadlines.
“Whether you choose to vote early in person, vote by mail or vote on Election Day, Ohio makes it easy to participate,” LaRose said. “Our goal is to make sure every Ohioan has the information they need to make an informed choice.”
As in years past, the Ohio Controlling Board approved funding for the 2026 Education Campaign in December 2025.
