Election Day is Tuesday! Whether you have already voted, plan to vote this weekend, or are heading to your local polling location before 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, here are some important items Ohioans need to know before Election Day. Go straight to the source for trusted Ohio election information—VoteOhio.gov. The Ohio Secretary of State has established VoteOhio.gov as a one-stop shop for everything voters need to make their voice heard in the upcoming election, including:
1. Finding your polling location.
2. Verifying voter ID requirements.
3. Tracking an absentee ballot.
4. Learning about support for voters with disabilities.Unofficial Election Results Will Be Available at VoteOhio.gov: The Ohio Secretary of State's office will provide unofficial election results shortly after the polls close on Tuesday, May 5. All results will be unofficial until certified by each county's board of elections. Unofficial results will be available for the following races:
1. Statewide Offices
2. Ohio Supreme Court Justice
3. U.S. Senate
4. U.S. House of Representatives
5. Ohio General Assembly
6. Judge of Court of Appeals

Steubenville Mayor Ralph Petrella welcomed Secretary Frank LaRose to his office this week. Their discussion focused on economic development, housing, and Steubenville’s ongoing transition from a historic steel town to a modern higher education hub.
Northeast Regional Liaison Dustin Russell presenting a commendation on behalf of Secretary LaRose to Pat Scherer, CEO/Scout Executive & Brian Battaglia, Skilled Trades Director, at the dedication of the new Skilled Trades Education Center in Peninsula, Ohio.

Ohio Man Pleads Guilty to Threatening 30+ Officials, LaRose Shares Statement
A New Albany man, Ronald E. Lidderdale, who sent 92 threatening communications targeting over 30 public officials, has pleaded guilty. Many of the victims were public officials, law enforcement and media members at an Ohio local television station.
