Secretary LaRose moderated a panel of industry experts from Reynolds and Reynolds, The Ohio State University, and the University of Dayton.
Post-Election Audits: Audits are now underway for the May 5 Primary Election. Each Ohio county is required to conduct a hand-count paper audit to ensure the accuracy of every election. Bipartisan teams will separate the ballots, hand-count them, and compare results to the machine count. In recent years, Ohio has consistently returned an over 99% accuracy rate! Honoring Our Country's Fallen Heroes
Secretary LaRose spent Memorial Day honoring the brave servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation's freedom. The Secretary delivered remarks in Copley, Norton, and Uniontown, paying tribute to the fallen and encouraging Ohioans to rededicate themselves to lives of service, patriotism, and gratitude for those who gave all on behalf of our country.
Secretary LaRose moderated the panel presentation at "Are You Cyber Safe? Cybersecurity Basics For Small Businesses." Held at the University of Dayton, the event brought together owners of small and medium-sized businesses from across southwest Ohio to gain valuable insights from a variety of cybersecurity experts.
East Central Liaison Caleb Shriver presented a proclamation to former NASCAR driver and Mansfield Speedway owner Matt Tifft in recognition of the facility's recent reopening and extensive renovations.
