Raise a Glass to Democracy: The Office of the Ohio Secretary of State is hosting a Raise a Glass to Democracy event from 5:30 P.M - 6:30 P.M. at Sonder Brewing in Mason on Friday, June 26. Secretary LaRose will be on hand to give a toast to democracy, celebrate America's 250th anniversary, and encourage voter registration.

In case you missed it, the Federal Trade Commission released new data showing that people reported losing $3.5 billion to imposter scams. Nearly one in three fraud reports involved imposter scams, originating via text, phone, email, social media, search engine results, and other means. If you have been targeted by a scam, please report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

The American Legion Buckeye Boys State was held on the campus of Miami University this week. Secretary LaRose served as the kickoff speaker and talked about leadership in government, lessons he learned from his military service, and the process of getting involved in state government.
West Central Regional Liaison Brian Metzbower provided a proclamation to Shelby County’s Board of Elections Clerk Trina Riethman. Trina celebrated her retirement from the board after 20 years.
Northwest Ohio Regional Liaison AJ Nowaczyk presented a proclamation to John Oswald, owner of Appliance Center in Maumee, recently. Appliance Center was celebrating the ribbon-cutting for its expansion.
A proclamation was presented to Chef Anthony Campbell by Eastern Regional Liaison Fiona Ruminski to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for The Ironwood Kitchen that is now open to the public at the Cambridge Country Club.

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced a limited-edition "I Voted" sticker in honor of America's 250th birthday.
"As our nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of freedom, self-government, and civic participation, this special edition sticker serves as a reminder that every vote helps write the next chapter of the American story," said LaRose.
