Nearly 100 Days Until the General Election: Ohio's next election is November 3. Are you registered? Be sure to get registered by the October 5 deadline. For all the information you need to make your voice heard, go to VoteOhio.gov. Here are a few key dates for the 2026 General Election:
September 18: Military and Overseas Voting begins
October 5: Voter registration deadline
October 6: Early and absentee voting begins
November 3: Election Day
Campaign Finance Deadline is July 31: Semiannual election campaign finance reports must be filed by certain candidates, political action committees, caucus committees (legislative campaign funds), and political parties by 4 p.m. (detailing contributions and expenditures through June 30, 2026). Ohio Recognized as One of 10 States Using National Voter Roll Database
Ohio has been recognized by the White House as one of ten states using a federal database to check voter rolls.
Called the SAVE System, it helps identify non-citizens and deceased individuals who still show up on voter rolls.
