Ballot Board Meets August 3: Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced that the Ohio Ballot Board will formally convene on Monday, August 3, to prescribe and certify the ballot language and explanation for the proposed constitutional amendment regarding voter photo identification. The board will also recognize persons designated to write arguments for and against the amendment. The full meeting, along with past hearings, can be watched here.

Secretary LaRose delivered remarks at the dedication of the new London Police Building this week. The Secretary spoke about the importance of law enforcement to the community and presented a proclamation to London Mayor Patrick Closser. The new facility will provide police officers and citizens with new resources and a stronger environment to protect the community.
Secretary LaRose stopped by the 2026 Butler County Fair in Hamilton this week, where he met with local 4-H members, connected with constituents, and celebrated the people and traditions that make the fair a special part of the Butler County community.
