Yes! Through our Grads Vote program, every Ohio high school receives voter registration packets to distribute to outgoing seniors. Secretary LaRose also visits schools across Ohio to talk with students about voting, civic responsibility, and opportunities to serve as poll workers.

Secretary LaRose met with members of the U.S. Naval Reserve at the Ohio Statehouse during a professional development day organized by State Rep. Mike Dovilla. The Secretary shared lessons from his military service and public career, with a focus on leadership, teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
Secretary LaRose visited The Ohio State University South Centers in Piketon to learn more about its agriculture and natural resources research. The tour highlighted work in specialty crops, woodland, and aquatic resources, including research projects focused on fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms.
Deputy Director of Regional Services Kenny Henning presented a proclamation from Secretary LaRose to Lucy Gabbert in recognition of her work with the Clinton County Board of Elections. As part of the 2026 Clinton Community Fellows Summer Program, Gabbert assessed county polling locations for ADA compliance.
Secretary LaRose joined Carroll County election officials for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the Carroll County Board of Elections’ new location. The Secretary also toured the facility and highlighted the important work of local election officials and poll workers in administering secure and accessible elections.
Northwest Ohio Regional Liaison AJ Nowaczyk presented Wood County Fair Board President Paul Perry with a proclamation recognizing his service and contributions to the community. Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn also joined the presentation.

For National Poll Worker Recruitment Day on Tuesday, Aug. 11, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose called for Ohioans to serve as poll workers this November.
Elections Board Certifies November Ballot, Including New Money Levies
The Nov. 3 general election ballot will include issues for four additional tax levies and an additional income tax, eight tax levy renewals and two local liquor options, along with Columbiana County, state and federal candidates.
