Question:
How does Ohio ensure our voting machines are ready for Election Day?

Let's Verify:
Before every election, bipartisan experts in all 88 Ohio county boards of elections conduct a full battery of public logic and accuracy (L&A) testing on all voting equipment.

L&A testing puts every ballot style and voting system component through a systematic pre-election test to make sure:

  • Ballots are read correctly

  • Votes are tabulated accurately

  • Equipment is properly secured and sealed to verify the machines are not tampered with
