These federal laws ensure that members of the uniformed services and U.S. citizens living overseas can participate in federal elections. The Ohio General Assembly, through R.C. 3511.01 (B) has expanded these protections to cover eligible Ohioans outside of the U.S., and voting in state and local elections.
