Safe at Home is an address confidentiality program that allows victims of domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, rape or sexual battery to apply for an address designated by the Secretary of State to serve as the person’s address to shield their residence address from public records, including the Statewide Voter Registration Database.

As public safety professionals, it is your right under the law to protect your personal information and families, while preserving your right to participate in Ohio elections.
Ohio law provides that peace officers, parole officers, federal law enforcement officers, probation officers, bailiffs, prosecuting attorneys, assistant prosecuting attorneys, correctional employees, youth services employees, firefighters, EMTs, or investigators of the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation may redact their home addresses from public databases, including Ohio’s online voter rolls.

I Vote in Honor of a Veteran recognizes the service of our brave veterans by allowing Ohioans to dedicate their votes to a special veteran on Election Day. Participants can share a tribute and photos of their honored veteran on the Secretary of State's website and receive a pin to wear on Election Day.

Every Spring, all Ohio high schools receive voter registration packets to distribute to graduating high school seniors. Grads Vote provides resources to enable Ohio's graduates to become full participants in our democracy.
