Vincentian Volunteers of Cincinnati

Neighbors helping neighbors- it’s our motto and what Ohio is all about. The need for our services in the Cincinnati area is great, but so is the generosity of the community. Because of our home’s diversity, Vincent Volunteers of Cincinnati (VVC) members are able to live and work in the neighborhood they help transform.

Inspire. Connect. Encounter.

Vincentian Volunteers of Cincinnati provides young professionals ages 21-30 an opportunity to grow in faith, friendship and service by working directly with their neighbors in need. VVC members serve full-time with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, gaining excellent professional experience in a work placement that matches their gifts and experience with the needs of the community.

Vincentian Volunteers live in intentional community and participate in regular leadership development and personal, spiritual growth opportunities. Room and board; health and renters' insurance; monthly personal and phone stipends; an education award; and assistance in seeking loan deferment are provided.

A year with VVC places our members on a path to success: 100 percent of our VVC alumni have secured employment, education, or another year of service upon completing their year as a Vincentian Volunteer.

VCC helps individuals connect with other young professionals with similar values; explore a career path that is right for them; build a professional network; reflect on how to align their values with their work; and put their education, gifts and talents to work to benefit neighbors in need.
