Worthington Career Services/Buckeye Resumes

Ohio embraces values. We serve a vibrant and optimistic population. Talent from throughout the world comes to Ohio. From new graduates through senior executives, Ohio has grown into a diverse cross-section of professionals with much to offer. Executives bring a mentoring spirit and new talent is always eager to contribute.

Worthington Career Services is one of the earliest Ohio-based career services strictly advocating for job seekers. Founder and President Janice Worthington spent the 1970s and early 1980s as an Executive Recruiter. Recognizing the need for job seeker advocacy, the company restructured in the 1980s toward solely enriching and preparing job search candidates to outcompete and win offers.

In 1999 Janice was named one of the industry’s top 10 leaders by the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches. That same year son Jeremy Worthington joined the company and in 2004 opened the Buckeye Résumés satellite office. In 2006, Jeremy opened Buckeye’s Job Search School focused on the technology of career management and branding, and the nuts and bolts of effective job search.

As Certified Professional Career Coaches and Certified Résumé Writers, Janice and Jeremy have enabled clients globally to secure career offers for which they have worked so hard. With personalized service at a premium, job seekers come from as far as Vancouver, BC to work with the firm. Many former Worthington clients are employers who hire current clients. Proud to be native Ohioans, we are a dedicated family-owned business with an ever-increasing family of clients.
