WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?
Located right off I-75, we have a great mix of generations of loyal customers as well as travelers passing through Findlay who visit us daily to pick up a treat. We also are fortunate to have warm weather during ice cream season and cooler weather for candy season.
DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:
A third-generation family-owned and operated business since 1937; Dietsch Brothers has been a staple in the Findlay community for over 80 years. They manufacture and sell over 60 varieties of old-fashioned ice cream and over 90 varieties of fine chocolates, truffles, kettle corn and roasted nuts. Most people who have heard of them have tried their bestselling item, chocolate covered pretzels. Stage and screen star, Bette Midler, tweeted three times in 2017 how good the chocolate pretzels were after receiving a few boxes of them as gifts. Last year they produced over 56,000 gallons of ice cream and for three years in a row, TripAdvisor named them “One of the Top Ten Ice Cream Shops in America”.
In addition to their sweet treats, they have a fully stocked, ever changing, gift shop of home accessories, stuffed animals and gift items. Their main store is located at 400 West Main Cross Street in downtown Findlay. Their east store is located at 1217 Tiffin Avenue in Findlay.
