New Initiative to Expand Investigative Resources & Focus on Election Integrity

Today, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced that voting for military and overseas Ohioans has begun for the November 8 general election. On Friday, roughly 3,000 Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) ballots were sent to our service men and women stationed abroad and Ohioans working overseas by our county boards of elections. The deadline for Ohioans to register to vote is October 11, and early voting begins October 12.

COLUMBUS – Continuing a long-standing tradition, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has launched “Voting is About Our Future”, a Public Service Announcement in partnership with the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, to encourage Ohioans to register to vote for the November 8 general election. This public awareness campaign features elementary school-aged children calling on the adults of Ohio to make their voices heard by registering and voting.

Today, Secretary LaRose announced the 2022 Styling for Democracy. Now Vote! initiative – a partnership with barbershops, salons, and barber schools to encourage members of their community to sign up to be poll workers, register their family and friends to vote, and educate the community on the multiple ways to vote.
