LaRose Announces a Bipartisan Working Group to Modernize Ohio's Voter Registration System

COLUMBUS – Today Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced the formation of a working group which will work to modernize voter registration in Ohio. The working group includes State Senator Vernon Sykes (D-Akron), State Senator Nathan Manning (R-Huron), and State Representative Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Cleveland).

The following statement is attributable to Secretary LaRose:

"If you are someone who is concerned about election integrity and preventing fraud, maintaining accurate lists is one of the best ways possible to prevent fraud," said LaRose. "If you're somebody who like me is concerned that absolutely every Ohioan can participate in the civic exercise of being a registered voter and participating in our elections, this is a great way to do that as well."
